UK to Ban Sale of New Petrol and Diesel Cars From 2030: FT

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson plans to announce next week a ban on the sale of new petrol and diesel cars from 2030, five years earlier than previously planned, the Financial Times reported on Saturday. Britain had originally planned to ban the sale of new petrol and diesel-powered cars from 2040, as part of efforts to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and in February Johnson brought this forward to 2035. Citing unidentified industry and government figures, the FT said Johnson now intended to move the date forward again to 2030 in a speech on environmental policy he is expected to give next week. The BBC reported a similar plan earlier on Saturday, without giving any sources. A Downing Street spokeswoman declined to comment on the reports or the content of Johnson鈥檚…

‘Trump 2020’: Sydney Skywriter’s Message of Support for US President

The words “Trump 2020” were written in the skyline of Sydney, Australia on Saturday as supporters of U.S. President Donald Trump prepared to attend “Stop the Steal” rallies and marches across America.

Although the skywriting message came 11 days after the U.S. election, the results have yet to be finalized as several states are pending recounts while others have legal challenges.

The skywriting message was supported by some Sydneysiders, who took to social media to respond. One Twitter user said, “Sending some love all the way from Sydney for those marching in #MillionMAGAMarch2020.”

Another wrote: “All the way from Sydney Australia!! We support Trump 2020.”

The Million MAGA March 2020 hashtag was subverted on the weekend by Democrat supporters who posted images of pancakes in an attempt to block authentic posts from being visible to the public.

It is unclear who paid for the “Trump 2020” skywriting message, but the word “Trump” was written in the skies above Sydney once before, around the time of the president’s inauguration in 2017.

‘Stop the Steal’ and ‘Million MAGA March’

Trump’s supporters showed up at marches and rallies in different U.S. cities on Saturday.

At a “Stop the Steal” rally in Lansing, Michigan, rallygoers told NTD News that they were fed up with the legacy media outlets.

Susan Runyon said, “I’m so disappointed. I feel that they just tell us what they want us to know. Everything fraud-related, no, there’s no sign of it whatsoever. But no one’s saying, ‘well, there could possibly be.’ It’s just extremely one-sided.”

Preston Runyon said, “Yeah, that’s pretty much how I feel. They’re borderline treasonists. They’re putting out dangerous stuff to the public that causes friction and tension, and kind of divides the country.”

Another attendee, Dwayne Dimet, said: “The mainstream news media is hiding everything, they’re hiding everything. They’re protecting everything, they’re part of the problem.”

Meanwhile, NTD News reported that hundreds of people showed up to Saturday’s “Stop the Steal” rally in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Missouri’s Secretary of State Jay Ashcroft, who attended the rally, said he acknowledged there are concerns over the validity of the election results.

“We’re still moving through the process and states to certify those results. There will be litigation,” he said, adding that the state will take a more in-depth look into its voting results.

“But right now, with the margins that we have, I feel confident that any fraud did not affect the winners and losers in our races.”

Pennsylvania voters voiced their concerns over the fast spread of communism in the country at a “Stop the Steal” rally in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, on Saturday.

“Communism is spreading faster in this country than the virus,” one attendee said. “It’s kind of play our words to top the spread. We see other nations fall to the tyranny of the communism, like Russia, China, Southeast Asian countries, Central American countries, even Venezuela.  We can’t let that happen here in America.  Our fall will be much worse than other countries.”

The Epoch Times will not declare a winner of the 2020 presidential election until all results are certified and any legal challenges are resolved.

French Catholics Hold Open Air Mass to Protest Against Covid-19 Restrictions

NANTES, France鈥擟atholics held an open air mass in the western French city of Nantes on Sunday to protest against COVID-19 restrictions, under which masses are banned in churches. Some Catholics also gathered by the Saint Louis Cathedral in Versailles, near Paris, but police banned a demonstration planned by Catholics in the capital. In Nantes, which is home to one of France’s best known cathedrals, dozens of people, wearing face masks, knelt down with umbrellas in pouring rain to pray in the central Graslin Square, and to support calls for public masses to resume. “It is very hard for us. It’s like we are being deprived of our food. We need our spiritual food. When we are deprived of our mass, it is like being deprived of our food,” said Jerome…
