Undercover Videos Show Antifa Members’ Combat Training: Watchdog
A series of surreptitiously recorded videos show Antifa members training for combat, including sessions at an anarchist center known as “The Base,” according to a watchdog group. The videos were recorded by people who infiltrated different groups and shared footage with the watchdog, Project Veritas. Four teenagers have been arrested after a police officer was allegedly assaulted and mugged on Sydney’s northern beaches.
Four teens aged 16 and 17 have been arrested and are being interviewed at Manly Police Station following the incident at a Warriewood fast food restaurant.
Police were called to the McDonald’s on the night of June 12 after reports of a large group causing a disturbance inside.
After they ushered the group outside, NSW Police allege a male chief inspector, who was attempting to move on five teenagers, was knocked to the ground and had his mobile phone and badge stolen.
The group fled on foot. However, four of them were arrested in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A 17-year-old was arrested at North Narrabeen following a foot pursuit, another 17-year-old and a 16-year-old at their North Narrabeen home, and a 16-year-old at Warriewood.
“The chief inspector sustained minor injuries and a constable involved in the foot pursuit sustained head and knee injuries and was taken to hospital, however, he has since been released,” NSW Police said in a statement.
Police said inquiries were continuing.
