GOP Chair: Republicans Have to Find ‘Every Single Irregularity’

Pair Sentenced for Nebraska Pharmacy Fire Bomb Plot

ALEXANDRIA鈥擜 Nebraska pharmacist was sentenced Friday to nine years in prison and a Maryland drug dealer to 14 years for a convoluted plot to firebomb a competing pharmacy so they could divert more prescription narcotics to the black market. William Burgamy, 33, of Hanover, Maryland, and Hyrum Wilson, 41 of Auburn, Nebraska, each pleaded guilty to their respective roles in the conspiracy earlier this year in federal court in Virginia. Federal agents arrested Burgamy in April and charged him with running a website on the internet black market called NeverPressedRx that sold hundreds of thousands dollars’ worth of illicit drugs. After his arrest, authorities discovered the firebomb plot to destroy the rival pharmacy so Wilson’s operation, Hyrum鈥檚 Family Value Pharmacy, could increase its business. The pair figured the increased volume…

GOP Chair: Republicans Have to Find ‘Every Single Irregularity’

The GOP needs to get behind hunting “down every single irregularity” during the Nov. 3 election, said Republican National Committee Chair Ronna McDaniel, who said that the election will be likely decided in the courts.

“Ultimately it is going to be in the courts,” McDaniel said in an interview with WABC 77 AM, reported The Hill. “From a party perspective, we need to run down every single irregularity and make sure we pursue it so it doesn’t happen again, and see if it changes the course of this election.”

McDaniel noted there were irregularities in Michigan, saying that absentee ballot poll books in the state were out of balance. She added that an audit of the election in Georgia showed about 6,000 votes that weren’t counted on Election Day.

Also in the interview, McDaniel said that the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus pandemic lowered the security around elections.

“We also need to make sure that our elections are not so porous and fraught with insufficiencies that allow bad ballots to get in or people to vote who shouldn’t be,” McDaniel continued. “I think that’s the biggest issue we are seeing with this election. States that really lowered their standards, that didn’t care about signature matching, that didn’t care about voter ID laws, that ignored things that put safeguards in place to protect the election.”

McDaniel said that more safeguards should be implemented in future elections, including showing identification to vote.

“We have to get back to higher standards,” she added. “I don’t know why Democrats have gone so long with saying that we shouldn’t have voter ID. People should have to show an ID to vote.”

It comes as President Donald Trump’s legal team has filed lawsuits in several battleground states, with his lawyers saying they will file a major suit in the coming weeks.

“The suits will be against the election officials to invalidate the results of the election and force it to the legislatures and the Electoral College and then the Congress if necessary,” said Trump lawyer Sidney Powell, a former federal prosecutor who successfully defended Gen. Michael Flynn in court, in an interview with Fox Business’ Lou Dobbs last week.

“The entire election, frankly, in all the swing states should be overturned and the legislatures should make sure that the electors are selected for Trump,” she told Dobbs. “It’s gonna have to follow the Constitutional provisions.”

Meanwhile, some secretaries of state in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, Arizona, and Georgia have said they’ve seen no evidence of voter fraud that would overturn the election.
