McDonald’s and Nando’s Shut Down All Their UK Restaurants, Even for Takeout

McDonald’s and Nando’s will close all their restaurants in the United Kingdom and Ireland starting Monday, including for takeout, to help limit the spread of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) virus, commonly known as the novel coronavirus. Cranberry-Almond No-Bake Energy Bites

You can add 1 tablespoon of chia seeds or ground flaxseed to oat mixture in step 1, if desired. Energy bites can be refrigerated in an airtight container for up to three days.

Makes 12 bites

Total Time: 15 minutes, plus 30 minutes chilling time

Gather Equipment:

  • Dry measuring cups
  • Measuring spoons
  • Large bowl
  • Rubber spatula
  • Plate
  • Plastic wrap

Prepare Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup (2 1/4 ounces) old-fashioned rolled oats聽
  • 1/3 cup peanut, almond, or sunflower butter聽
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds聽
  • 1/3 cup dried cranberries聽
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt

Mix:聽Stir all ingredients in bowl with rubber spatula until well combined.

Shape:聽Use your wet hands to roll mixture into 12 balls (about 1 tablespoon each). Place balls on plate and cover with plastic wrap.聽

Chill:聽Refrigerate balls until firm, at least 30 minutes.
